SiteManager 7.0 RC6

This is a test version (Release Candidate) of SiteManager 7.0. This is the final version before SiteManager 7.0 is publicly released.

Changes are in addition to those from: SiteManager 7.0 RC5, SiteManager 7.0 RC4, SiteManager 7.0 RC3, Site Manager 6.1 RC2, Site Manager 6.1 RC1.

Improvements

• Display visible errors in private site when using incorrect SMS Object syntax. In public site, these errors are rendered as invisible comments.
• When adding a single image to the <sms:imagegallery>, a name is not required for the image (copied behaviour from adding single images to <sms:image>).
• Increased speed of Active type "object" slightly.

Fixes

• Fixed bug where src attribute required size parameters, and returned an erroneous character if they were not provided.
• Fixed bug where using url(...) syntax in a template could cause characters to be chopped off the resulting URL.
• Fixed bug where using url(...) syntax to contain an SMS Object expresion (e.g [%components.image.src%]) would incorrectly include the template path as a prefix to the URL.
• Fixed inability to enter an email address into the link dialog without it being auto-prefixed with "http://".
• Fixed debug text appearing when a file object has been deleted outside of the application.
• Fixed <sms:imagegallery /> throwing an error when Lightbox was required.
• Fixed old-style image popups throwing 404 (those which used imagewrapper.php).
• Fixed <sms:search> properties dialog crashing.
• Fixed foreign characters sometimes being removed when a page is saved.
• Fixed bug where users created via <sms:registeruser /> component would crash in PHP5 if they logged in during their approval stage.
• Fixed bug where some Flash Banner images wouldn't publish.
• Fixed image upload component linking to impossible location where the source of the image had been deleted externally.
• Fixed bug where newly created forms couldn't be edited using AJAX editor.
• Fixed issue where using an <sms:script> component with a pre-render runtime could cause a trace close comment before the XML prolog, if the (Blitz) cache was enabled.
• Addressed issue where new (legacy) checkbox poll interface would not display minimum number of options error message against the appropriate question.

Other changes

• Flash banner links in the table view now open more consistently: links to pages open the page in a new window, not the page folder in the admin editor. This is much less confusing.
• Suppressed legacy error messages for old sites using deprecated ".imageid" syntax.
• Disabled deprecated versioning (treeId based) for all Active viewcontents interfaces. This will make a very small number of bespoke web apps incompatible with SM7, but results in higher speed and reliability elsewhere.
• Moved Flash banner objects into Experimental Adjunct.
• URLs now inherit from their parent if a parent has an explicitly overridden URL. This more closely matches expected end-user behaviour.
• Reduced font size of Active user/group selector (fits more names in smaller space).
• When a bookmark is created using a right-click menu, the default write permissions for that bookmark are set to the user who created them only.
• If a page is deleted/denies you permissions while you are editing it, a more intelligible error message is now displayed: "Page not found. It may have been deleted, or you may not have rights to view it."
