This is the change log for a minor release of SiteManager. It was released on July 28th.

Improvements

  • The Image Gallery component now writes much more flexible HTML when SMS7 Strict is used (the table is not styled at all).
  • The Image Gallery component now supports cropping of thumbnails, allowing for square-image thumbnails from non-square sources.
  • The automatically generated sitemap.xml file now uses the official SiteMaps XMLNS, instead of the Google SiteMaps one.
  • Made toolbar slightly faster to load.

Fixes

  • Fixed issue where a corrupted <sms:video> or <sms:audio> component became impossible to edit (e.g. if a file was deleted outside of SM).
  • Fixed issue where redirections would not be automatically created for pages which had their URLs change due to a migration from SM5.x to SM7.
  • Fixed bug where "My files" would sometimes not install correctly.
  • Fixed potential XSS exploit for Ajax requests.
  • Fixed bug where publishing a page that referenced since-deleted invalid objects could crash.
  • Fixed bug where an <sms:image> component of exactly 100 pixels in width could produce invalid HTML in the page editor, potentially resulting in corrupted layout.
  • Fixed bug where images could not be edited in the left side panel.
  • Fixed bug where <sms:imagegallery> would not work with SSL.
  • Fixed issue where adding trailing spaces to a query parameter option in the form editor would cause a field to not be picked up. The trailing spaces are now automatically trimmed.

Other changes

  • Creating a Bookmark now displays the "Applies to" interface, which was previously only displayed after the Bookmark was created.
  • Removed confusing / unnecessary "Upgrade applied?" column in group view.
  • New installs now feature a "Designers" group. Members of this group have rights to edit Templates, Stylesheets, Skins and Scripts. Members of the Admin group now have rights to publish pages, edit forms and edit config, among other minor tweaks.
  • Removed the superfluous "Cancel" button from the <sms:resetpassword> component.
  • Removed the superfluous "Cancel" button from the <sms:changepassword> component.
  • Revised the default text for the <sms:changepassword> component, addressing some trivial typos.
